2nd Git Commit and Final Demos format
Hi guys,
First thing we want to say is that you have been truly awesome and we are really stoked to have spent the last 24 hours with you!
A few important notes for tomorrow - the Finale!
I/ Second Git Commit
- 10 AM - Second Git commit challenge. Please, even if you push code earlier than that make sure that you commit at 10 AM. If you need help - don't worry we will help. Again, make sure you commit source code and salelsforce metadata. If you need help, we will be here to support. Have new cool swag to give away too ;)
II/ Judges, Final Demos and Judging Criteria
- 1pm - Coding stops, Third Git Commit, and Final Submission on ChallengePost
- 2pm - Final Demos: Judges will be evaluating your app (not your ChallengePost submission which is used for referecnce) based on the following 4 criteria:
- Innovation
- Business potential
- User experience
- Use of Salesforce1 Platfor technology
- Judges
-
Kris Moyse: Proximity Insight Founder
- Chad Meyer: Internet Creations CEO
-
Shahaf Galil: CronSights CEO
- Demos Format
- You will have 3 minutes to demonstrate your app + 2 additional minutes with Q&A
-
Here are a couple of options to demo you mobile app:
- Plug your mobile device into the projector for iOS devices or use the overhead projector for Android devices. We will have a few adapters available, but recommend you bring your adapter that works with your mobile device.
- Use a web browser (iOS and Android devices) to display the Salesforce1 Mobile App container as it is seen on a mobile device. To do that, all you need to do is add /one/one.app to the end of your URL of the domain your Salesforce instance is on. For example, https://na15.salesforce.com/one/one.app.
One last thing - it doesn't matter how far you can go with building your project or whether all functionalities are there, we would love to see what you've created and give you a big applause!
See you tomorrow!
